We’re looking to add board members with expertise in any of the following areas: fundraising, communications, public relations, childhood development, or health and wellness, non-profit operations, and finance.
Serving on the board offers experience working with a diverse and committed team to support a warm, effective environment.
The candidates would serve as full members of We Teach Love’s board for a two-year term, starting January 2019. Board members oversee and support the functioning of the organization, serve as ambassadors and advocates of WTL, and represent the organization at meetings, recruitment events, and other public events. Board members must be team players, active listeners, and ready to roll up their sleeves and dedicate 8-10 hours a month to board tasks. All board members must also agree with and adhere to WTL’s conflict of interest and confidentiality policies, Articles of Incorporation, Code of Ethics, and Bylaws.
